    The 2019-2020 Selection Criteria is now available.

    Nancy Filteau, President of Judo Saskatchewan, has resigned as of September 30, 2019. We would all like to thank Nancy for her tenure as President, and welcome the interim President TV Taylor. At the AGM in Nov 2019 we will hold an election for President, for the remainder of the two year term. Thank you TV.

    Justin Filteau, Chair of Participation and Development, passed away on June 1, 2019. Mr.Brady Burnett has volunteered to help and to take over the duties of the Chair of Participation and Development. The executive has appointed Brady to the position of chair of Participation and Development until the AGM in Nov 2019. At that time there will be an election for the remaining year of the two year term. Thank you Brady.

    Destiny Gibney, Chair of coaches resigned her position as of August 12, 2019. The Judo Sask Executive would like to thank Destiny Gibney for the time and energy she put into the Chair of Coaches position. We are hoping even though time did not permit you to stay on as the Chair of Coaches, you will be able to help coach our athletes on the mat. Mr. Blair Taylor has volunteered to help and take over the duties of the Chair of coaches. The Judo Sask Executive has appointed Mr. Blair Taylor to the position until the AGM in November. At that time there will be an election for the remaining year of the two year term. Thank you Blair.

    There is a new online document for grading applications from Judo Canada. These forms are no longer to be sent to The PGB. For Shodan to Yondan grading. Please use the Judo Canada online form on their web page.

    Judo Saskatchewan is a member of Sask Sport and Judo Canada, which is recognized by the International Judo Federation as the governing body of Judo in Canada.
