Ontario Open
November 27-28, 2005

The athletes sent to Ontario Open had a truly outstanding performance. Everyone fought hard and showed Saskatchewan's fighting spirit!

Out of 14 athletes sent, 8 medalled and two of them medalled twice!!

In the Junior women category:

• Chantelle Beausoliel, -48Kg, Silver
• Nichelle Stever, -63Kg, Bronze
• Jeanine Yuen, -70Kg, Bronze
• Alicia Stever, -70Kg, Silver

In the Juvenile women category:

• Stephanie Seib, -63Kg, Bronze
• Jordon Poliakiwski, -44Kg, Gold

Jordon has also been selected by Judo Canada to represent Canada in Brennen, Germany

In the Senior women category:

• Nichelle Stever, -63Kg, Silver
• Chantelle Beausoliel, -48Kg, Silver

In the Juvenile Men category:

• Warren Seib, -42Kg, Bronze
• Kendal McArthur, -45Kg, Silver

Jim Pattison also was successful at grading to National "B" Referee

Fedor Lazerenko will be traveling to Brennan Germany as one of the Canadian Coaches.

Saskatchewan brought back more medals than any of the other Western Provinces.
