Rule Change information

• New IJF Rules - 2010
• An excellent set of videos that shows good descriptions of the IJF rule changes in regards to leg grabs: Video
• Tournament Rules adopted by Judo Saskatchewan

Dress code for Referees

• Black blazer, white shirt, dark tie, gray pants and black socks
• Judo gi is ok if referee is competing that day
• Gray pants white shirt, black socks is ok if referee is a Novice or Provincial C

Provincial Referee Grading

• One grading per year
• Needs to be refereeing min of 5 tournaments per year
• For provincial B and A needs to be refereeing out side of Sask. ex. Alberta and Manitoba
• For a Nat. grading needs to be refereeing larger tournaments ex. Québec Ontario BC Alberta Manitoba and active at our provincial tournaments.
